About the role
The Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS) maintains regional field office locations across the nation. Each field office is managed by a Supervisory Air Marshal in Charge (SAC) who provides overall supervision for Federal Air Marshals (FAMs) deployed on domestic and international flights and serving in ground-based assignments. FAMS field office SACs maintain robust working relationships within their respective districts, including Federal, State and local law enforcement counterparts.
Requirements
- You must possess U.S. Citizenship or be a U.S. National. You must have reached the minimum age (18) at the time of application. You must complete a favorable Background Investigation (BI). Selective Service registration is required.
