Platform access and accounts

• Use the service lawfully and provide accurate account information.
• Keep account credentials private and do not attempt to bypass permissions, rate limits, service controls, or paid-product entitlements.
• Barber Career Map may suspend access for abuse, fraud, security risk, unlawful activity, impersonation, false ownership assertions, or material violation of these terms, subject to applicable law.

Job listings and external Apply links

Job availability changes and third-party information can become outdated. Barber Career Map does not guarantee employment, an interview, an offer, a completed application, compensation, benefits, or the continued availability/security of an external employer website.

• Verify important job, salary, benefit, location, eligibility, and application information with the employer.
• Third-party listings preserve their source and may be subject to provider-specific terms.
• Report suspicious, fraudulent, unavailable, duplicate, misleading, incorrectly located, or broken listings through the reporting tools.

Ventures

Barber Career Map may allow users to create and publish Venture profiles and may also publish source-backed, discovery-created Ventures that have not been claimed by an owner. Public Venture profiles may appear on Venture pages, maps, search/discovery surfaces, and related public BCM surfaces.

• You are responsible for Venture information you submit or materially edit and must not knowingly provide false, deceptive, infringing, unlawful, or misleading information.
• Ordinary allowed consumer Ventures may publish through self-service after automated moderation checks. Barber Career Map may route content for review or later restrict, unpublish, pause, archive, correct, or remove a Venture when appropriate under its moderation, safety, ownership-integrity, or legal workflows.
• A Venture may be public without being verified. Verification is optional for ordinary public Ventures; verification does not guarantee the Venture's accuracy, legitimacy, availability, hiring status, quality, or outcomes.
• Published Ventures may display supported relationships to Employers, Jobs, or Career Hubs where those relationships exist in BCM. Venture activity may also generate supported analytics and referral-attribution records.
• Pioneer recognition uses additional qualification requirements and is not established merely by creating, publishing, or claiming a Venture.

Venture claims, ownership and moderation

Claims, verification submissions, ownership assertions, reports, impersonation cases, and ownership disputes are subject to BCM review and correction workflows. A submitted or pending claim does not by itself establish ownership or control of a Venture.

• Some published Ventures may remain publicly visible while unclaimed, including discovery-created Ventures.
• Do not impersonate another person or organization, submit a knowingly false claim, manipulate verification or moderation workflows, or use Venture features to misrepresent ownership, affiliation, hiring activity, or business status.
• Barber Career Map may rely on administrative review and correction workflows to resolve conflicting ownership assertions, impersonation concerns, inaccurate associations, reports, or other Venture-integrity issues.
• More detailed Venture-specific and claim/ownership/verification rules may apply where separately presented.

Location, commute, salary and benefit estimates

Some jobs provide only a city, ZIP, metro, or region. Barber Career Map may place those jobs approximately for visualization and must not invent a workplace street address. Commute and relocation distances are estimates and may vary with routing data, traffic, road conditions, closures, travel time, and provider availability. Salary and benefits may originate from employers or data providers and can change.

Payments, promotions and subscriptions

• Prices and entitlements are determined server-side from the current Barber Career Map catalog.
• Paid visibility enhances presentation; it does not buy organic search-result ranking.
• A Verified Career Hub subscription is optional. If it ends, paid badge, branding controls, and paid analytics access may end while the legitimate Basic Career Hub remains available.
• Subscription, cancellation, refund, credit, and promotion-duration rules shown during purchase apply in addition to these terms.
• Payment processing is handled by Stripe when Checkout is enabled. Test-mode transactions are separated from production revenue.

Acceptable use

• Do not use automated access, scraping, resale, account sharing, or bulk extraction in a way that violates Barber Career Map controls, provider licenses, law, or another party's rights.
• Do not upload or submit unlawful, discriminatory, fraudulent, malicious, infringing, deceptive, impersonating, or knowingly inaccurate content.
• Do not attempt to access private Home data, other users' notes, employer-private data, private Venture claim/verification evidence, restricted intelligence, security records, or administrative systems without authorization.

Intellectual property and third-party material

Barber Career Map owns its product software, branding, and original interface content. Employers, Venture contributors, and third-party providers retain rights in their submitted or sourced material as applicable. External sites and providers operate under their own terms.

Disclaimers and responsibility

The service is provided subject to applicable law and may experience errors, downtime, stale provider data, routing failures, source outages, external-link failures, inaccurate or incomplete Venture information, or changes in a Venture's status. Barber Career Map does not guarantee that a Venture is accurate, legitimate, available, actively hiring, verified, owner-controlled, or suitable for any particular purpose or outcome. Nothing in these terms is intended to waive rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be waived.

Changes to these terms

Material product or legal changes may require updated terms and notice. The current version and effective date will be shown on this page.
