What Barber Career Map is

Barber Career Map is a job discovery and commute exploration tool. It helps you browse job information on a map, compare opportunities, and estimate commute times from a Home location you choose. Barber Career Map is not an employer, staffing agency, or recruiter, and it does not apply to jobs on your behalf, guarantee interviews, or make hiring decisions.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Barber Career Map. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up, and let us know if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Job information

Job listings, salary figures, employer names, and location details shown in Barber Career Map come from third-party sources or are provided for exploration purposes. They may be incomplete, out of date, approximate, or inaccurate. Always verify job details, pay, and requirements directly with the employer before making decisions. Barber Career Map does not guarantee that any listing is current, accurate, or still open.

Job listing data is licensed from third-party data providers for display inside Barber Career Map only. You may browse, save, and compare listings for your own personal job search, but you may not scrape, bulk-download, copy, redistribute, resell, or republish job listing data, use it to build or feed another job board, dataset, or competing service, or attempt to circumvent the limits and protections around how job data is delivered.

External sites

Listings may link to employer or third-party websites. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and Barber Career Map is not responsible for their content or conduct.

Google Maps

Maps, place search, and commute estimates in Barber Career Map are powered by Google Maps. By using these features, you also agree to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service, and Google's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You agree not to hide, remove, or obscure Google attribution shown on the map.

Commute estimates

Commute times and distances are estimates only. Real travel times vary with traffic, weather, road conditions, and route choices. Barber Career Map is not a navigation or safety service, and commute estimates should not be relied on for driving directions or time-critical decisions.

Paid Plans and Billing

Barber Career Map offers optional paid plans: Pro Monthly at $9.99 per month, and a 90-Day Career Pass at $24.99 as a one-time purchase. Both provide the same Pro features. Pro Monthly renews automatically each month until canceled. The 90-Day Career Pass provides 90 days of Pro access from the time of purchase and does not renew.

You can cancel Pro Monthly at any time through the billing management option in your Profile. Cancellation stops future renewals; your Pro access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for. Prices may change in the future, and any price change will apply prospectively with notice, never retroactively to time you have already paid for.

Payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. Barber Career Map does not store your full card number or card security code. If a material paid feature is removed or significantly reduced during a period you have paid for, we will make reasonable efforts to address it fairly.

Except where required by applicable law, payments are generally non-refundable once paid access has been provisioned. Barber Career Map may consider refund requests or issue refunds at its discretion.

Acceptable use

• Do not scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract data from the service, or use bots or automated tools to access it.
• Do not attempt to circumvent plan limits, usage metering, or security measures.
• Do not interfere with the service or attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or misuse the service.

Intellectual property

The Barber Career Map name, logo, design, and software are owned by Barber Career Map. You may use the service for your own personal, non-commercial job exploration, but you may not copy, resell, or redistribute the service or its content.

Service availability

Barber Career Map may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time. We do not promise that the service will always be available or error free.

No warranties

Barber Career Map is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Barber Career Map is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including decisions you make based on job information or commute estimates shown in the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we make meaningful changes, we will update the date above and ask you to review and accept the new version the next time you use your account.
