This job opportunity is for an STRATEGIC PLANS AND TRAINING OFFICER, position description D2948000, within the JFHQ of the New Jersey Air National Guard. This vacancy announcement is a Title 32, Excepted Service position. This position is located in the Joint Force Headquarters-State (JFHQ-State), Strategic Plans and Training Directorate (J-5/7). The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Officer over Strategic Plans and Training for the JFHQ-State.
Requirements
- Military Requirements Areas of Consideration: CAT 3 All New Jersey Army National Guard members Military Grades: CPT/O-3 to LTC/O-5 Selectee(s) must be within the military grade(s) listed in this job announcement prior to the effective date of placement into the technician position. (- Applicant(s) (Enlisted) who are over grade must clearly state, in their resumes, their intentions to willingly take a reduction in grade) Additional Employment Requirements: Participation in direct deposit is mandatory May be required to complete a probationary period successfully Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for the Selective Service Title 32 Dual-Status Positions: Compatible Military Assignments Appointments may require the selected candidate to be assigned to a *military unit* compatible with the full-time Military Technician (Dual Status) position. *Military Unit* -- The unit by which the individual is employed as a Military Technician (Dual Status) employee; or a unit that the individual is employed as a Military Technician (Dual Status) employee to support.
