About the role
The District of Columbia Courts offers internships for students interested in seeking valuable experience in court administration. Interns have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to the Court's mission to protect rights and liberties, uphold and interpret the law, and resolve disputes fairly and effectively in the District of Columbia. This unpaid internship is for Fall/Winter 2026.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized by the Immigration and Naturalization Service to intern in the United States. Must be 18 years of age or older. The selected candidate must complete a fingerprinting background check, a Child Protection Registry (CPR) check, and undergo a health clearance screening. Enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a full-time or part-time undergraduate student. Must be able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week.
