Your Mission
As a Senior Business Development Manager in Nuvei, you will play an instrumental role growing the customer base of Nuvei within Japan.
We are looking for a strong individual contributor who has demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity, operating in a high-growth environment, solving problems with limited oversight. Ideal candidates will have experience working in a global corporate environment and possess first-class analytical, communication and relationship-building skills.
Requirements
• 8+ years of sales experience with proven track record in fintech sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Japanese as the position requires you to work primarily with customers from Japan.
• Ability to build strategic executive relationships with customers and industry thought leaders.
• Experience managing customers in Japan.
Responsibilities
• Be accountable for increasing revenue and new client acquisition at high rates of growth.
• Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through deal closure, contracting, onboarding, and ongoing relationship development.
• Develop and execute market growth strategies, including budgeting, pipeline management, territory planning, and revenue forecasting.
• Play a personal and direct role in building and maintaining enduring customer relationships, up to C-level.
• Work collaboratively and cross-functionally across the organization to help shape products and solutions to meet customer needs.
• Contribute market intelligence, competitive insights, and client feedback to influence product roadmap priorities and regional growth strategies.
• Participate in industry events to help support positive market awareness.
• Self-driven and growth-oriented professional with a global mindset, strong ownership mentality, and passion for continuous improvement.
