The Residential Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing residential units, building systems, and common areas. This role completes work orders, performs preventive maintenance, and helps ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for residents. Location: Portland, Ca | Residential Building Shift: Monday - Friday | Day Shift Payrate: $26-30 hourly rate | Weekly pay The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position.   A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. Responsibilities

  • -Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner. -Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance systems. -Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues within residential units and common areas. -Conduct preventive maintenance inspections on building systems and equipment. -Prepare vacant units for new residents, including inspections, repairs, painting, and cleaning coordination. -Repair doors, windows, locks, cabinets, flooring, drywall, and other building components. -Replace and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, and garbage disposals. -Maintain and repair household appliances including refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, and laundry equipment. -Assist with HVAC maintenance, filter changes, inspections, and minor repairs. -Maintain accurate records of completed work orders, inspections, and inventory usage.

Requirements

  • -High school diploma or GED required. -Minimum 1-3 years of residential, apartment, or facility maintenance experience preferred. -Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and carpentry. -Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. -Excellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to prioritize multiple work orders and meet deadlines.
