About the role
This position is located within the J4 at FMS 30, in Temple, TX. The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance production management, to achieve or maintain desired production levels, to serve as an equipment readiness expert for units supported by the facility, and to provide technical guidance and oversight to a lower-graded Production Controller. Texas is one of 9 states with NO state income tax.
Requirements
- Appointment Factor(s): This is an Excepted Service position that requires active membership in a compatible military assignment in the Texas Army National Guard and wear of the military uniform. Applicants who are not currently a member of the Texas Army National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the Texas Army National Guard. Areas of Consideration: Nationwide Excepted. This includes: All currently employed full-time permanent, indefinite and temporary personnel of the Texas Army/Air National Guard. All current members of the Texas Army/Air National Guard and individuals eligible for membership in the Texas Army/Air National Guard. Military skill set is determined by AFSC/MOS requirements. Upon selection, individuals must be assigned to a compatible military AFSC/MOS in accordance with statutes and National Guard Bureau regulations and must obtain/maintain all requirements of the AFSC/MOS.
