Part-Time Commercial Handyman / Maintenance Technician - 35 per hour

City Wide Facility Solutions in Fort Myers is hiring an experienced, dependable part-time handyman to complete repairs and maintenance at commercial properties throughout the Fort Myers and Naples area. This role offers $35 per hour, a gas allowance, and a flexible schedule of one to two days per week. The ideal candidate can diagnose issues, complete quality repairs independently, and communicate professionally with clients. Requirements Proven experience in handyman or general maintenance (required) Broad skill set across multiple trades Ability to diagnose issues and complete repairs independently Working knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repairs, with the judgment to recognize work that requires a licensed trade professional Good communication skills and professionalism when interacting with clients Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively Must provide a complete set of standard hand and power tools needed for routine service calls Preferred: Experience in commercial environments Experience diagnosing and completing several types of repairs during a single service visit Responsive and reliable under time-sensitive conditions Responsibilities: Handle a variety of commercial handyman and light maintenance assignments, including: • Minor repairs (doors, hardware, drywall, trim, fixtures, etc) • Basic carpentry and installations • Ceiling tile replacement, light bulb replacement • Light plumbing repairs (faucets, leaks, fixtures) • Light electrical work (as permitted) • Furniture assembly and installation Complete service calls, punch-list items, and small projects Conduct preventative maintenance and general upkeep Work across multiple commercial sites (offices, medical, schools, industrial properties) Coordinate with facility managers and internal team Respond promptly to urgent or time-sensitive service requests as needed If you are a dependable, versatile maintenance professional who takes pride in quality work and responsive service, we encourage you to apply.
