About the role
CITY WIDE FACILITY SOLUTIONS
Perrysburg, Ohio | Serving Northwest Ohio
Lead People. Build Relationships. Drive Results.
Are you a hands-on leader who enjoys developing people, solving problems, and making a measurable impact?
City Wide Facility Solutions is looking for a motivated, results-driven Director of Operations to lead and develop our operations team serving commercial facilities throughout Northwest Ohio.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in facility management, commercial property operations, building maintenance, or related service industries who is ready to take the next step in their leadership career.
You don’t need to have held the title of Director of Operations to be successful in this role. We’re looking for someone who understands facilities, enjoys leading people, takes ownership of results, and has the drive to build a high-performing operation.
Who We Are
City Wide Facility Solutions is a building maintenance management company that helps businesses simplify the way they manage their facilities.
We serve as a single point of contact for our clients, coordinating everything from janitorial services and floor care to window cleaning, landscaping, handyman services, and other building maintenance needs.
Our success is built on strong relationships, dependable independent service partners, and a team of Facility Service Managers (FSMs) who proactively identify problems, deliver solutions, and make our clients’ lives easier. As Director of Operations, you’ll lead the team responsible for making that happen.
What You’ll Do
Lead and Develop Your Team
· Coach, mentor, and develop Facility Service Managers to reach their full potential.
· Establish clear expectations, measure performance, and celebrate success.
· Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
· Spend time in the field supporting your team, solving challenges, and reinforcing best practices.
· Help recruit, onboard, and develop new operations team members.
Deliver an Outstanding Client Experience
· Ensure our clients receive consistent, high-quality facility maintenance services.
· Build lasting relationships with commercial property managers, business owners, and facility decision-makers.
· Help your team identify and resolve service challenges quickly and professionally.
· Promote proactive building inspections, communication, and problem-solving.
· Drive customer satisfaction and long-term client retention.
Build a Strong Service Partner Network
· Develop and maintain relationships with qualified independent contractors and service providers.
· Ensure the operation has the right service partners to support both existing clients and future growth.
· Establish expectations for quality, reliability, responsiveness, and professionalism.
· Support contractor development and accountability.
Drive Operational Performance and Growth
· Monitor key performance indicators, including client retention, profitability, service quality, and team productivity.
· Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and strengthen operational performance.
· Support the growth of additional facility maintenance services within existing client relationships.
· Partner with sales and leadership teams to ensure successful new client launches.
· Take ownership of operational results and help drive the continued growth of the business.
What We’re Looking For
We believe great leaders can come from a variety of professional backgrounds.
Relevant experience may include:
· Commercial facility management
· Property management or building operations
· Commercial maintenance or janitorial service management
· Construction or specialty service management
· Multi-site operations or field service leadership
Our ideal candidate will bring:
· Demonstrated success leading, coaching, or supervising employees or service teams.
· A working understanding of commercial facilities and the services required to maintain them.
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
· A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to challenges.
· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
· The ability to balance customer satisfaction, employee development, and financial performance.
· A willingness to work in the field alongside the team when needed.
· A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel locally throughout the service area.
Previous experience as a Director of Operations is not required. We value leadership ability, relevant industry experience, accountability, and a willingness to learn.
What Makes This Opportunity Different?
This isn’t a position where you’ll spend every day behind a desk. You’ll have the opportunity to build a team, develop future leaders, work with a wide variety of commercial facilities, and play a meaningful role in the success of a growing business.
Every day brings new opportunities to solve problems, strengthen relationships, and improve how we serve our clients. If you enjoy seeing the results of your work, helping others succeed, and taking ownership of a business operation, this could be an excellent fit.

· Performance-based bonus opportunities
· Paid time off
· Professional development and leadership growth opportunities
· A collaborative team environment with opportunities to make a meaningful impact
