- Inspection & Quality Control: Receive, inspect, and verify materials for accuracy, quality, and condition.
- Warehouse Operations: Maintain an organized warehouse and assist with loading, unloading, truck arrivals, and material flow.
- Installation Support: Provide timely material support to the installation team and help ensure service levels are met.
- Transportation: Drive company vehicles for material pickup and delivery to jobsites as needed.
- Cross-Training: Learn and support other warehouse positions and duties as needed.
Requirements
- Material Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret Material Take-Offs and distinguish between interior and exterior trims.
- Experience: 2+ years of carpentry or construction materials experience preferred; ability to measure and cut materials accurately a plus.
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.
- Forklift: Ability to become forklift certified required.
- Safety: Safety-conscious with a strong commitment to safe work practices.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to repeatedly lift 50–70 lbs. unassisted.
