About the role

This position serves as an Auditor in the Division of Financial Advisory Services (DFAS). Office of Acquisition and Logistics Management (OALM), Office of Management (OM), Office of the Director (OD), NIH. and provides financial advice, participates in the development and implementation of cost policy, resolves audit findings, performs cost analyses and special reviews and negotiates indirect cost rates.

Requirements

  • This position is covered under the Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP) Act. As an HHS Acquisition Workforce position, selectee(s) must obtain a FAC-C (Professional) Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty. Applicants who possess a current FAC-C (Professional) Certification (or equivalent) must provide a copy of the certification with their application. U.S. Citizenship requirement or proof of being a U.S. National must be met by closing date. Employment is subject to the successful completion of a background investigation, verification of qualifications, completion of onboarding forms, submission of required documents, and any other job-related requirement before or after appointment. Applicants must meet all qualifications requirements within thirty (30) calendar days of the closing date of this announcement, including time in grade. Males born after December 31, 1959 must be registered with the Selective Service. If selected, you will be required to complete a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE Form 450 to determine if a conflict or an appearance of a conflict exists between your financial interest and your prospective position with the agency.
