About the role
This position is assigned to Justice Prisoner Air Transportation System (JPATS). Note: The positions will be filled in either Kansas City, MO or Oklahoma City, OK based on management's discretion. The selectee of this position serves as a Airplane Pilot. You will be responsible for operating a Boeing 737 aircraft in support of prisoner movement and other special operations.
Requirements
- This is a bargaining unit position. Must pass a pre-employment security investigation and drug screening. May be required to successfully complete a trial/probationary period. Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service. Verify Registration here. Must be a U.S. Citizen or National. You must meet all qualification requirements when applying for this announcement. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. If selected, you may be required to sign a one-year Continued Service Agreement. Special Requirements: Must possess an air transport pilot (ATP) Certificate with a Multi engine-land rating; at least one heavy turbojet type rating (above 12,500 pounds and/or turbo-jet); and a current Class II FAA Medical Certificate.
