• KEY REQUIREMENTS: Open to current or prior service active duty, reserve or national guard members of one of the branches of the US Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, or Coast Guard. Military members: Submit vMPF Rip, DVR, CDB, STP, ERS, MBS, or PDR with resume. Prior service members: Submit a DD Form 214. Must become a military member of the Wyoming Air Nat'l Guard before appt. To inquire about Recruiting into the WY Air National Guard, contact (307) 772-6333 for assistance. Must possess or be able to obtain AFSC 2A571, Airlift/Special Mission Aircraft Maintenance. Recruitment/Relocation Incentives ARE NOT authorized. PCS is not authorized in lieu of incentives. If selected, you will be required to relocate at your own expense. May be required to successfully complete a two-year trial period. Veteran's preference does not apply to National Guard Technician positions in accordance with Title 32 USC 709(f). EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS: Technicians are paid through Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer (DD/EFT). Military Technicians are ineligible for military enlistment, retention, and student loan repayment bonuses. Acceptance of a Technician position will terminate these military incentives. Acceptance of a permanent or indefinite position will cause termination from the Selected Reserve Incentive Program (SRIP) and TRICARE Reserve Select (TRS). CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: 1. Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position. 2. Covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. 3. Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission. 4. Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day. 5. Duties and responsibilities may significantly impact on the environment. Responsible for maintaining awareness of environmental responsibilities as dictated by legal and regulatory requirements, organization, and its changing mission.
