About the role

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Oversight: Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks, to maintain property integrity and functionality.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies through regular inspections and prompt resolution of any issues.
• Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the maintenance budget, monitoring expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of equipment, tools, and supplies, overseeing inventory levels, and procurement processes to support efficient maintenance operations.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies, including after-hours and on-call responsibilities, to ensure resident safety and satisfaction.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of property maintenance experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a proactive approach to addressing maintenance issues.
• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with residents, staff, and vendors.
• Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role, particularly in property management or hospitality.
• Background Check: Successful completion of background and drug screenings.
