ABOUT MECKA AI Mecka AI is building the data infrastructure layer for robotics and embodied AI. We design and operate global systems for data capture, data labeling, and hardware-enabled workflows used by leading AI labs and robotics companies to train and validate humanoid and embodied AI systems. We work closely with frontier robotics teams to bridge real-world data, simulation, learning-based systems, and deployed hardware. The Role Mecka's datasets come from a global network of contributors capturing real-world data, and that network needs to grow by an order of magnitude while acquisition still runs market by market. In this role, you'll build one acquisition engine with shared channels, playbooks, and measurement that every market runs, and you'll run it hands-on, using AI to do what used to take a team. You'll report to company leadership and work alongside our country teams across APAC, South America, and North America. What You'll Be Doing: • Own contributor acquisition end-to-end, from first touch to first approved capture, and deliver on quality, speed, and volume across programs and markets. • Build and scale a channel portfolio across referral, community, field, organic, partnerships, and paid, knowing the cost and conversion of every channel and cutting what doesn't work market by market. • Launch referral and affiliate programs with quality controls built in, and a repeatable partner motion with organizations that already reach contributors. • Set how Mecka shows up to contributors, from messaging and creative to community presence, so growth builds on itself instead of restarting with every program. • Build AI-powered workflows for localized creative, content, and outreach so a small team can cover many markets and languages, shipping experiments on a weekly cadence. • Build retention programs that keep contributors engaged. • Hire key people and set the playbooks, budgets, and standards in-market teams run, working with Operations to forecast needs by program and market. What You Bring: • 6+ years in growth, including owning supply-side acquisition at a two-sided marketplace, gig platform, or data collection business. • Personally built a multi-channel acquisition engine, scaled it in more than one country, and owned its budget, defending cost of acquisition and activation metrics to leadership. • Runs growth work through AI tools and automations today, with repeatable systems rather than one-off experiments, and a clear view of what shouldn't be automated. • Hired key people and led through a matrix with in-market teams you didn't directly manage. • Based in New York or San Francisco, or willing to relocate, and willing to travel regularly to our markets. Even Better If You Have: • Grew a contributor, annotator, or workforce base at a data collection or AI training data company. • Scaled supply growth across emerging markets, especially APAC, and made a playbook built in one country work in others.
