Night Manager - Virginia Beach

The Night Manager oversees contract compliance for our designated building maintenance accounts in the Virginia Beach / Hampton Roads area and manages the working relationship between City Wide and our independent cleaning contractors. This is a full-time, evening/overnight shift position ideal for someone with strong people-management skills and a background in facilities or janitorial services. Key responsibilities: - Build and maintain strong working relationships with independent contractors by communicating client priorities and collaborating on solutions. - Review scope-of-work documents and conduct quality inspections to retain existing accounts and support new business growth. - Send nightly recap reports and escalate urgent issues to the Facility Services Manager. - Handle customer complaints, new account start-ups, and special client requests. - Enforce company policies on cleaning standards, tools, and equipment use. Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent; additional experience in commercial janitorial or facilities services is a plus. - Prior supervisory experience, including coaching, motivating, and leading a team across multiple sites. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Comfortable with regular local travel between client sites; valid driver's license and reliable vehicle recommended. - Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods during site visits.
