• Appointment Factor(s): This is an Excepted Service position that requires active membership in a compatible military assignment in the Texas National Guard and wear of the military uniform. Must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the Texas National Guard. Areas of Consideration: CAT 1-Nationwide Excepted. This includes: All currently employed T32/T5 full-time permanent, Indefinite, or temporary personnel of the Texas National Guard All current members of the Texas National Guard, and individuals immediately eligible for immediate membership in the Texas National Guard who meet the compatibility requirements. A 25% Recruitment Incentive may be offered if funding is available to newly hired employees and is calculated as a percentage of base pay. Selectee will be required to sign a FOUR-year service agreement prior to entrance on duty. Current on-board Federal Technicians/Employees do not qualify for the Recruitment Incentive. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968.
